Department of Electronics Technology  is one of the important Higher Secondary vocational courses under the Engineering and Technological group introduced by the state government from the academic year 1988-1989. The state board revised the syllabus as per NVEQF (National Vocational Education Qualification Policy). This policy is decided by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under HRD ministry of Government of India to nurture technological advancement & Skill development for job opportunities in various Electronic sectors. The syllabus of the Electronics Technology sector has been evolved in such a way that after completion of the course of two years (Std. XI) and (Std. XII) The student would acquire good working skills suited to work as a skilled person in industry. He would also gain knowledge for electronic technician, electronics sales & service. 

The intake capacity for all M.C.V.C. is 30. Any S.S.C. Passed candidates are eligible for taking admission to these courses. The age of the candidate should not be more than 20 years. Daily practicals are conducted and practical raw material is provided to them. Furthermore the industrial visits are arranged by the concerned department to acquaint themselves with the practical field. Students are assigned project work, which has to be submitted. A special certificate is awarded to students after successfully completing the XII by the deputy director vocational education. This can be used in getting employment as well as for obtaining loans from the financial institute to start their own enterprise & become self employed.

Different industrial units demand the list of successful candidates who have passed accountancy and auditing M.C.V.C. course. The selected candidates work as an apprentice in their unit for which stipend is paid to them.

The successful candidates of M.C.V.C. will either get employment, start their own business or they can continue education also. The electronics Technology successful candidate can take admission in B.A. /  B.Com first year.

The certificate holder in Electronics Technology (M.C.V.C) course can seek employment in various electronics industries like TV stations or radio stations as technicians.

ACCOUNTING AND OFFICE MANAGEMENT [A.O.M.] – M.C.V.C.

M.C.V.C. Department 

MCVC – Minimum Competency Vocational Courses, now also known as HSC Vocational Courses.

It gives students the opportunity to pursue vocational courses in the same amount of time, instead of doing traditional eleventh and twelfth courses [SCIENCE/COMMERCE/ARTS] after the tenth, which Significantly increases their job and self-employment chances.

These courses are of two years duration i.e. of 10+2 pattern.

Vocational education is that form of instruction designed to prepare people for industrial or commercial employment.

It can be acquired either formally in technical secondary schools, or in on-the-job training programs or, more informally, by picking up the necessary skills on the job.

  • ABOUT A.O.M. – ACCOUNTING AND OFFICE MANAGEMENT:

It helps the Students to analyze the behavior and  working style in an organization. It also implies understanding the theory as well as  practicum work for an organization. It helps to learn about the office motivation and team grooming in the companies. It provides information about the internal and external affairs of the organization. 

Moreover it helps to guide the students about the working process of an organization as well as the Accounting principles used in the organization.

Thus, it helps the students to grow with Accounting knowledge and technical work processes in an organization.

It also specifies the Accounting and costing know-how in the organization followed by the Auditing procedures.

It signifies the business communication, dealings, classifying the output of an organization.

Management accounting provides information which supports business decisions and the course will demonstrate the techniques used by management accountants in the ways that they consider costs and revenues and their measurement; how profit is calculated and what information can be used to inform decisions made by the management in an organization.

ABOUT MCVC

Minimum Competency Vocational Courses (MCVC), also known as HSC Vocational Courses. These vocational courses are sponsored by the directorate of vocational education and training. This is a Central Government Course.

The student after passing 10 standard instead of going for traditional courses of Arts/ Commerce/ Science can get admission for this job oriented courses. These courses are of 2 years duration that are of 10 + 2 pattern.

According to the MCVC scheme, the different groups include Engineering Technology, commerce, agriculture, health and paramedical services and home science. Students have to choose a relevant field.

This course also issues certificates to students for the purpose of seeking apprenticeship training in the industry /Organization relevant to his/her vocational subject fields ,Securing employment, Seeking loan from the bank for self employment venture under various schemes of Financing sponsored by the State Government and financial institution.

In our Annasaheb Vartak college, this course was started in 1988 which provides education for economically backward students to study forward and show their talent in various fields.There are three departments in MCVC in our college. 

  1. Accounting and Office Management

Logistic and Supply Chain Management  consists of all the important aspects of trade and Commerce. Banks, logistics, accounts, transportation,  market supply chain plays a very important and key role in modern trade and Commerce.

Commerce students must acquire accurate and deep knowledge of these areas. So that he can get employment in all these areas, also it is very useful for self employment.

OBJECTIVES

TO ENABLE STUDENT :

  • To give knowledge of all important and key areas included in trade and Commerce
  • To give latest knowledge of all purchasing methods, such as e-marketing, e-purchasing, e-retailing and Tele marketing marketing
  • To give knowledge of modern banking business
  • To give knowledge of supply chain in the market 
  • To give full knowledge relating to Tally operation 
  • To give information about Logistic and transportation so that student can have employment and also start his own business in that field 
  • To give full knowledge in the area of security and safety equipments in industries

MCVC department conducted a number of exhibitions and participated in District level exhibition and score prices and many of our students are placed in good firms and many are self employed. Students are also taken for industrial/ Bank visits by which students are taught how to stay in discipline and work with complete dedication.
