The Political Science department has been functioning since the establishment of the College. It is a compulsory subject for the students of Arts Stream. The department is served by well qualified and experienced faculty. It is instrumental and makes utmost efforts to introduce to the students to the principal concepts in these fields. Thereby strengthening the base for their career development. Moreover it tries to maintain a student friendly atmosphere in the class.

Bharati Atmaram Torane :
- Masters Degree and Master of Philosophy Degree in Political Science.
- Worked as a Moderator for HSC Board Papers, Paper Setter as well as Resource Person for Teachers Training in Upgraded Syllabus of Political Science from Mumbai Region in 2013 as well as in 2018.
- Holding responsibility as well as organizing activities in the Campus and Outside as the N.S.S. Programme Officer since 2014.
- Attended the Research Methodology Course in Social Sciences, organized by the Department of Geography, S.N.D.T. Women’s University Pune and ICSSR in January 2019.
- Presented a Research Paper at the National Conference held at Port Blair in October 2018 as well as at the International Conference held at Pune in March 2019.
- Published an Article in Marathi on the theme “Covid 19 and Vipassana” at the Peer Review Online journal issue of June 2020 ‘Sambhashan’ published by Mumbai University.
Santosh Gurunath Pagi :
- Masters Degree in the subject History from Mumbai University.
- Masters Degree in the subject Political Science from north maharashtra University, Jalgaon.
